How to Upload and Access Birth and Residency Documents
Please note: parents do not have to log in to upload docs because ECollect added "single sign on" which is just a fancy term that means they only have to log in once. Wouldn't it be great if that were available for staff? Sure would. But it isn't, yet.
Ecollect has a cool feature
that allows parents to upload documents. We have this option on the
registration portal on the Birth Verification and Residency Verification
pages. Follow these steps.
- Go to the Birth Verification or Residency Verification page.
- At the bottom you will see a section called Upload Supporting Documents as shown in Screenshot 1 below.
- You
must sign in. This feature is not part of PowerSchool. It is hosted by
Ecollect. So the log in is for the Ecollect document server. You can
create a login name that is the same as your PS login if that is easiest
for you to remember. This is what I would suggest to parents. Click
Sign In. Refer to Screenshot 2 below.
- If you/they have never
done this before, enter a user name and password then click Register.
Agree to the terms and conditions. If you have done this before, click
Sign In and enter your login information.
- Now you will see the Screenshot 3 below. Click on Add Document.
- Click on the Browse button. Find the document you wish to upload. Then click Upload. See Screenshot 4 below.
