Direct Cert Step 2: Download the DC File From AOE Edfusion Website
Previous Steps Required
To review, at this point you have run the DC#03 SLDS reports in PowerSchool, formatted them correctly and uploaded them to Edfusion. If there were a lot of errors, you have fixed them and uploaded again until you are satisficed with the results.
Note: We are not looking for a perfect zero error DC03 submission. When you have few errors, that's fine. If you are unsure if you should correct the errors because of the quantity, contact Doug in Food Service.
The next step in your journey to update the Direct Cert (DC) Data, is to download the DC file from the AOE Edfusion website.
Important: After you upload your data, you must wait overnight for the AOE system to update that happens at every dat at midnight.
Download the DC File from EdFusion
- Log in to EdFusion. If you've gotten this far, you must have been given an account for Edfusion. If not, talk to Karyn or Gloria who will get you one from the AOE.
- Click on the Insight link and select Reporting Group.
- Enter the values for the dropdowns as is shown in this screenshot.
- Under the information heading, you will see the name of the source for the data it will give you. This is data that has been updated by you submitting the DC#03 files. Click Create.
- When the file is ready, you will see a row of data as in the above screenshot. There is a column that says "Processed" and that is the indicator that the file is ready to be downloaded. Click on the Download link.
Save the file to the Google drive to this location. There is a folder for each school year. Select the correct year and save the file.
