Attendance - Seats are Grayed Out - Troubleshooting
From PSUG
1. Your enrollment dates are not correct
2. Your calendar is not set up correctly.
3. Students are off-track. If you have tracks defined in the calendar and the grayed out students are on a track that does not meet today (have the box checked in the calendar) then they will appear that way.
4. For attendance there needs to be a bell schedule [School > Bell Schedules] that has the period on it that is active today on the calendar [School > Calendar Setup]. If you have Cycle Days set up, the correct day must be set on the calendar too. So if you had A days and B days and it happened to be an A day, all the sections scheduled for B days only would be grayed out.
