Resend the Parent Approval Email

The Enrollment Email sent to parents when a new student record is approved and imported into SIS is tied is an automated process tied to an update to the U_ECOLLECT_ENROLL.STUDENTEMAIL field. If this email did not initially go out, was lost, or needs to be redirected to another parent or guardian, updating that field using Data Export Manager will allow you to resend the message.

 

Steps to resend the Enrollment Email:

 

  1. Navigate to Data Export Manager (Start Page  > System Administrator  > Page and Data Management  > Data Export Manager)
  2. Choose Category: Database Extensions
  3. Export From: U_ECOLLECT_ENROLL

  5. Click "Next"
  6. Locate the record you wish to resend the email for
  7. Click the pencil icon
    1. If you are changing the recipient, replace the existing email address with the new one and click submit (you can verify the email sent by checking the Outgoing Email Queue at Start Page > System Administrator > System Settings >Email Setup)
    2. If you are resending to the same recipient, cut the existing email address out (CTRL-X on Windows, ⌘-X on Mac) or right click, "Cut", click submit, click the pencil icon a second time, paste the email address back into the field (CTRL-V on Windows, ⌘-V on Mac) or right click, "Paste", and click submit (you can verify the email sent by checking the Outgoing Email Queue at Start Page > System Administrator > System Settings >Email Setup)
