To create email lists in PowerSchool, follow this procedure:
Select the students you want on the start page.
Click on the Group Function dropdown. If you have used this drop down recently, it will have the name of the function you used. If not, it will say "Select Function."
Select Build Email List from under the Function heading.
On this next page, select the email address you want according to the column titles.
If you find you want a certain email but you want to omit specific emails, click the check box, find the email you want to exclude and uncheck that box.
Likewise, if you want specific people click the box just click on the emails you want.
Once you have selected what you want, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You will see a box containing email address. Click Copy. Then go to the email you are creating and use Paste in the BCC field. Make sure you use BCC and not CC so that parents won't see all the emails.
